Hoax - Girl shipwrecked on a desert island, saved with Google Earth after 2 years

In 2007, the British Gemma and 2 of her friends arranged a trip across the Atlantic to the Panama Canal and on to the beautiful island of Hawaii. The trip was wonderful and without any surprises. However, after crossing the Panama Canal and entering the Pacific, things started to get very difficult.

A very large storm damaged the ship's electronics and caused very serious damage. Her 2 friends fell into the sea and disappeared. During the second storm, Gemma was knocked unconscious and this is where her story begins.

Gemma woke up on a beach, and there were debris around the ship. Alone and with a sense of panic, as the days passed, he discovered that he was the only inhabitant of an island. He had to find water, food and a shelter from the debris of the ship

But two years passed before anyone saw it. One morning he awoke to the sound of a plane flying unusually low over the desert. He thought it was a dream. She ran down the beach screaming and waving like crazy, the plane flew over her 2 or 3 times and then dropped a small . Inside was a radio, fresh water, food and a small first aid kit. He turned on the radio and heard a human voice after 2 years. When they rounded her up the first thing she asked was "How did you find me?"

"A kid from Minnesota saw SOS on Google Earth," was the response from the rescue team. Gemma didn't even know what Google Earth was, but she appreciated it unimaginably.
