Saving Time and Resources for Local Government

Hotech, at the Technology Helps Society meeting, presented the NFC Field Service application, a valuable tool for any organization that aims to upgrade its day-to-day operations.

The meeting was an initiative initiated by the Association of Mobile Applications Companies of Greece (SKEKE), in collaboration with the Free Software Company / Open Source Software and with the support of INNOVATHENS, the innovation and entrepreneurship node of Technopolis of the Municipality of Athens , aiming at assisting the exploitation of "mobile technologies" by the local authorities.

The NFC Field Service application provides Municipalities with everything they need in order to convert a series of forms such as forms, reports, applications, questionnaires and any other document they use for their internal and external communication, into digital forms, which are filled in and processed by mobile devices in real time, in a modern and more efficient context .

The enriched forms are available in digital format for the statistics and reports, and are directly linked to the organizations' existing management systems.

NFC Field Service is a modern and flexible solution without high technology infrastructure requirements that exploits the use of mobile phones in a simple and direct way, enabling Local Government Bodies to upgrade their services while saving time and functionality cost.
