Google: wanted to buy WhatsApp for 10 twice before Facebook

GoogleThe application WhatsApp purchased from Facebook with the imposing amount of 19 billion dollars last night, had rejected an equally tempting offer made to them by Google. According to sources very familiar with the matter, Google had offered 10 billion dollars to close a deal with the popular service .

The magazine Fortune reported that Google offered $10 billion for the app , but the deal did not include a board seat as it did with the Facebook deal. We do not know if this was the reason that the agreement between the two companies did not go ahead, but in the end WhatsApp seems to have a much better one with Facebook.
