The application WhatsApp purchased from Facebook with the imposing amount of 19 billion dollars last night, had rejected an equally tempting offer made to them by Google. According to sources very familiar with the matter, Google had offered 10 billionmillions dollars to close a deal with the popular service messages.
The magazine Fortune reported that Google offered $10 billion for the app WhatsApp, but the deal did not include a board seat as it did with the Facebook deal. We do not know if this was the reason that the agreement between the two companies did not go ahead, but in the end WhatsApp seems to have a much better one with Facebook.
The WhatsApp app is a very popular messaging service for smartphones in recent years, boasting 450 million users and reportedly larger than Twitter.
