The magazine Fortune reported that Google offered $10 billion for the WhatsApp app, but the deal did not include a board seat as it did with Facebook's deal. We do not know if this was the reason that the agreement did not proceed between them two companies, but in the end WhatsApp seems to have a much better one with Facebook.
The WhatsApp app is a very popular messaging service for smartphones in recent years, boasting 450 million users and reportedly larger than Twitter.
