Google today announced the new Android 7.1 Developer Preview. The preview is expected to be released later this month while the final version is scheduled for December.
Google stated that Android 7.1 Nougat is the latest version of the platform and includes new features for users and developers. Some of the new features are support for Daydream VR support and A/B system updates. Επιπλέον, θα έρθει με νέες shortcuts εφαρμογών και υποστήριξη για image keyboard.
Later this month, Google will make the new Android 7.1 Developer Preview available so that developers can try out how to take advantage of better the new version. The Developer Preview will be distributed through the Android Beta program.
The Android 7.1 Developer Preview will first be released for Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P, and Pixel C devices. Other devices will follow until the end of the preview.
The final version will be released in early December for Nexus 6, 5X, 6P, 9, Player, Pixel C, as well as for Android One devices. The new Pixel and Pixel XL devices will be updated in December.
