Google released a new update to Google Chrome on March 25th. Update fixes a security flaw (0day) in the browser already in use according to Google.
The update brings the fixed version of the browser to version 99.0.4844.84.
The update is already available for all supported desktops, and Google says it will automatically roll out to all of them Appliances "in the coming days/weeks". Those who want to speed up the installation of security patches can do so from the menu:
Open Chrome and select Menu > Help > About Google Chrome or open the internal address chrome://settings/help.
Google Chrome displays the version that is installed. A check is performed for updates and if found it will be automatically downloaded and installed.
The announcement of the new release for the Stable version, on its official blog Google Chrome Releases gives some information about the repaired vulnerability.
The update fixes an individual security issue that has been rated high.

We should mention that this is the second 0day vulnerability that Google fixed in 2022 in the Chrome browser. The first security update released in February of 2022 to address a vulnerability used at the time.
