Google Chrome 114 security update

Google has released a security update for the περιήγησης Google Chrome 114 που αντιμετωπίζει τέσσερα διαφορετικά ζητήματα ασφαλείας στο πρόγραμμα περιήγησης. Οι desktop εκδόσεις αλλά και η έκδοση για Android του Google Chrome επηρεάζονται από τα κενά ασφαλείας, καθώς και τα προγράμματα περιήγησης τρίτων που χρησιμοποιούν το like their.Google Chrome

The security update is already available and if you want you can install it manually by opening the internal address chrome://settings/help.
Chrome will check for updates and automatically download the new version. After the update you should restart the browser.

The following versions of Google Chrome will protect you from potential attacks that use the latest security holes:

Google Chrome for Windows: 114.0.5735.198 or 114.0.5735.199
Google Chrome for Mac: 114.0.5735.198
Google Chrome for Linux: 114.0.5735.198
Google Chrome for Android: 114.0.5735.196

The security holes that the update fixes

Google only gives us three out of four security holes which he fixed in the latest Chrome update. The company does not disclose information about security issues it has discovered internally.

The three vulnerabilities listed on the official Chrome Releases blog have a high severity rating, second only to critical:

[$ 20000] [1452137] High CVE-2023-3420: Type Confusion in V8. Reported by Man Yue Mo of GitHub Security Lab on 2023-06-07

[$ 5000] [1450397] High CVE-2023-3422: Use after free in Guest View. Reported by asnine on 2023-06-01

Google doesn't say anything about whether they're already out there for the above bugs.

Update your application as soon as possible to protect it from possible attacks. Chromium-based browsers such as Microsoft Edge, Brave, or Opera are also affected and will be updated in a few days.
