Google announced yesterday on its official blog Chrome that it stops support on various operating systems in April 2016.
Let's mention the first and best Windows XP, and with that the company is ending support for it as well Windows Vista.
The main reason for this is surprising is that Windows Vista is still supported by Microsoft (!). Instead, the company stopped supporting Windows XP on 8 April 2014 and while Google could have done the same, it did not do so due to the popularity of the operating system.
As far as Vista is concerned, its market share is less than one 2% at the moment.
The decision of Google should not have caused any surprises considering that Microsoft will continue with Windows Vista support until April 2017.
As far as the Mac platform is concerned, all versions of Mac OS X 10.8 as well as the older ones will stop supporting from April 2016 onwards.
What will happen after April 2016?
According to Google, the Chrome browser continues to work on these platforms, but it will not receive security updates or fixes.
Note: Well with Windows XP, like old good OS but are there people still running Vista?
