IGuRu.gr introduces the idea of the Google Developer Group (GDG) Thessaloniki, Google Map Maker and is pleased to announce that it will be the sponsor of the event's communication. The Google Map Maker is now available and enables "budding" cartographers to curate the maps of Greeces.
With Map Maker, one can contribute with his knowledge to his place to create an even more inclusive, useful and interesting European map. Make the beginning from his town or village and add the description of local shops, restaurants and other businesses. It can also help enrich the maps with national parks, recreation areas and historical sites, camping sites, beautiful beaches or its favorite cycling trails.
