Uncontrolled Google and its Doodle

When the τίμησε την Ἀφρικανίδα συγγραφέα Zora Neale Hurston με ένα προσαρμοσμένο λογότυπο – ή όπως μας είναι γνωστό ένα Google Doodle – στην of earlier this month, the company received rave reviews.

Η Times and Los Angeles Times published the praises, stating: “It is worth noting her tribute Google for Hurston, who was a pioneering novelist, a champion of black popular culture, and a bold anthropologist, ”wrote Daphne A. Brooks, a professor of English at Princeton University.

Google

But it has it Google the right to post souvenirs doodles for such prominent artists? We would like to see companies like this McDonald use pictures of Martin Luther King selling hamburgers or Coca-Cola showing Mohandas Gandhi in a soda can? Why be something different when a technology company uses Hurston?

Just like the US Post Office that issues stamps with famous Google, it decides what a tribute is worthwhile and who does not.

Is it time for the company to stop using large political and cultural elements in its logos?

Remember: H Google has been involved legally, for its violations of privacy around the world. It is worth mentioning them who want the company's close cooperation with the National Security Service for the invasion of Americans' privacy and more. And while the protests continue, Google is holding up people who fought for freedom and personal liberties as role models. After Doodles, the company continues to record our privacy by incorporating in its quests and brand, historically great personalities.

Every brand should know its position and its limits. But Google seems to have its own limits and tries to make people respect them. The fines it has already paid, and its ongoing violations prove that the company does not "listen" to anyone and faithfully follows its action plan.
