Η Google μόλις κυκλοφόρησε έναν ιστότοπο με information and resources to better understand the coronavirus outbreak. You can see it at the address goοgle.com / covid19.
The site currently serves visitors residing in the US, but will soon add content for more countries and more languages (Spanish version of the site will be next, as reported by The Verge.)
Google's website includes disease information, links to health counseling materials from the World Health Organization and public health departments across each US state, safety tips, coronavirus spreads around the world, well-being ideas and work as well as a donation page supported by the United Nations Foundation for World Health Organization's COVID-19 Solidarity Fund.
Google also reports information about appearing in results searchs related to the disease, as well as links to Twitter accounts of local political organizations and various health authorities.
President Trump announced last week that Google has created a website to help people in the US find test locations. But a subsidiary of Alphabet, which created the site, today only serves people who live in two California counties.
There is a lot you can read on the Google site, but if you need more, there is another portal launched by WhatsApp, as well as various other dashboards to monitor the spread of the virus, such as created by Microsoft.
