Google is bringing artificial intelligence to Google Maps, promising to help users find beautiful places through the use of LLM (from large language model).
The new function will answer queries for restaurant or shopping recommendations, for example, using LLM you will be able to analyze the detailed and information of Maps for more than 250 million places and trusted information from the Google community.
Over 300 million contributors have collaborated on this information. So you'll be able to quickly get suggestions on where to go.
Google says the feature will initially be available in the US, but there's no word yet on when it will roll out to other countries.
Google says that it will initiate the first integration by a small community to ensure that AI is used carefully. This means that only those few participants will initially have access to Google Maps' AI feature.
