Pac-Man on Google Maps; No, it's not an April Fool's joke! Google loves video games. Try the service search of Google to see the results searchs for the terms “do a barrel roll” and “zerg rush” to see what we mean.
Tomorrow's day is April, and Google chose to use its maps (from the familiar Google Maps service) to pay tribute to a classic video game: Pac-Man.
If you go to the address maps.google.com, you will notice two icons in the lower left corner, one is for Google Earth and the second is for Pac-Man. Select any city you want, then click on the Pac-Man icon to start playing on the city streets.
But let us warn you about the day that is dawning. Google is used to doing a lot smart April fools pranks. Pay attention to the next news you read about the company, because you will find yourself scratching your computer screen to smell a rose (it was a Google April Fool's prank from last year).
