The struggle between Microsoft and Google continues, this time with a move from the latter, with which it tries to convert more customers looking for a more affordable productivity suite.
Microsoft has particularly advertised the latter two χρόνια και μέχρι σήμερα το Office 365, και έχει κερδίσει ένα μεγάλο μέρος της αγοράς στην online επεξεργασία εγγράφων. Η Google on the other hand it wants to enter the game and makes dynamic commercial policy moves, targeting existing Microsoft customers with special offers.
The SFGate reports that a new Google Docs campaign is offering companies and governments using Office 365 today the chance to migrate to it without paying a cent until the end of the term enrollment them to Microsoft.
That is, if the company you have a contract for Microsoft Office for two more years, then you can move to Google for Work without paying anything for the next 24 months. Then you can negotiate special promotions that Google plans to have, keeping at least the same price as Microsoft Office 365.
For now, Goggle's new offer is limited to the United States and will last for six months, but according to the above-mentioned source, the company plans to bring it to other countries in the coming weeks.
Keep in mind, however, that if your company (or your organization) has more than 3.000 users, you will not be able to take advantage of the above offer (obviously it does not benefit Google) but even so, surely you can with so many group users make a good deal with it, since it is estimated that Google will reduce your costs by $ 360.000 (320.000 euro) per year if a company with 3.000 employees goes from Office 365 to its own services.
Obviously, Microsoft will not be left with all of this aggressive Google policy, and so we expect to see a counter-offer soon.
