Following a complaint by Brazil to the Institute of Political and IT Rights (IBDI), a judge ordered the Google to deliver the data which has collected it Street View from the country. If the Google do not deliver the files it has collected will be paying fines of holy 50.000 dollars a day. This particular fine could increase to the maximum amount of 500.000 dollars a day. The complaint came in the context of investigations into the government's communications monitoring of NSA.
Of course it is not the first time that Google faces fines for its practices. In April, Germany fined the company 145.000 euros because in 2010 the Street View cars except από την χαρτογράφηση, συνέλεγαν και κωδικοί πρόσβασης ή και άλλα data from the open Wi-Fi.
Google has denied that it is cooperating with the NSA but has admitted to delivering its data by court order.
The court replied by pointing out that Mr Edward Snowden documents had been leaked which showed that the cables Google's fiber optic networks were hacked by the NSA.
