Google is holding an event on October 4th. It is almost certain that it will announce its new mobile phones, but what is different this time, is that the devices will most likely carry the new commercial signal Pixel, not Nexus.
Its marketing campaign companys comes with a new tagline: Made by Google. There is also a corresponding hashtag in the URL of the event it is madeby.google.com. So Google looks to promote ads in various publications and in a way he never did before about Nexus phones before.
The reason is probably because the phones will wear Pixel brand name instead of Nexus One.
The company is reportedly making great efforts to make it clear that the device will not be an LG or Huawei phone but a Google design.
Naturally, all rumors say Google is not actually making the device, and that's what HTC will do for it.
But, as Sundar had promised Pichai, Google will hold the reins this time tighter than ever.
Let's hope we see something worth our money.
Quite the Google ad blitz on this one. Hope it's worth the hype. pic.twitter.com/zyf6MXDDit
