Google Play Protect: In an effort to keep them users of Android safe from malware on their phones, Google has new security features with Play Protect for all devices running from Google Mobile Services 11 and up.
Google says it will automatically scan apps from the Play Store that are installed on your phone to make sure there is no malicious.
For applications that have indications or suspicions of being malicious functions it will be possible to block or completely remove them from your device.
The service was announced for the first time in May, but is already becoming widely available.
Play Protect uses mechanical learning, and can detect new attacks that have just begun to run (yes even zero-day).
However, if you use apps from other Stores outside of it Google Play, you are still at risk of being hit by a virus.
