GoPro president Tony Bates revealed today that the company is preparing to release a new mobile application that will allow users to edit and share their videos via their mobile phone.
According to Mr. Bates, the application is already in the final stage of testing and the company is expected to release it by the end of the summer.
The new app sounds like a first solution until the company can fully share a cloud service product that automatically corrects users' videos.
Mr. Bates briefly mentioned that the company is pursuing a cloud-based product that will allow owners to view and edit their videos captured with camera GoPro.
Of course, those who deal with action cameras know that there are some very good ones on the market applications processings videos that have already done an incredible job in the field of automatic video editing.
There are also professionally paid ones and some free. However, an application made specifically for GoPro would be a very interesting option.
Considering that GoPro is doing better and better financially, it is very likely that this online editing tool will arrive early enough to allow all GoPro users to edit their summer vacation footage this fall.
