The Economic Police and Cybercrime Prosecution Service has filed a formal case file against a 39-year-old resident of Edessa, who is accused of repeatedly offending the sexual dignity of a minor via the Internet.
For this particular case there had been a previous complaint, according to which, a specific user on a social networking website he had made contact with an underage girl and insulted her sexual dignity with indecent proposals.
From the digital online survey, following the order of the Prosecutor's Office of Athens for preliminary examination and in cooperation with the company of the specific web site, the involvement of the 39 national host was identified.
In a survey conducted at 17.1.2014. in his residence in Edessa, in the presence of a Judicial Officer and an on-site autopsy on his computer, it appeared that he was the user of the controversial profile of the social networking site.
Also, as part of the investigation, one (1) portable Η/Υ και ένας (1) σκληρός disc, which will be sent to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations for further laboratory tests.
39 has not been arrested due to the passing of the limits of the self-imposed procedure, while the case file that has been filed against him will be submitted to the Prosecutor's Office of Athens.
