The European Banking Authority (EBA) has been the target of a cyber attack on Microsoft Exchange Servers, affecting many organizations worldwide. The Agency quickly launched an investigation, in close collaboration with ICT, a team of forensic experts.
As the vulnerability relates to EBA email servers, access to personal email data held on these servers may have been leaked to the attacker.
As a precautionary measure, EBA decided to take its e-mail systems offline.
