They redirect users to fake Netflix websites, and are waiting to collect passwords, which they sell on the black market for 25 cents the code.

Symantec's report does not accurately specify how many accounts might have been compromised, but it shows an ad from a popular black market that claims to have 300.000 code stock.

Fraudsters also advise their clients not to change anything from the account details and of course not to change the password. They warn that they will not sell other accounts to buyers who do not comply with these terms.

If you have a Netflix account and worry about being intercepted, you can check the list of recently watched movies.

If you see any unusual activity, change your password immediately.
