It is known that the army of USA uses video games for educational reasons. What is not known is that it is testing a new helmet that resembles what they wear on Halo.
The Helmet Electronics and Display System-Upgradeable Protection, also known as HEaDS-UP may resemble battle tools for some fantastic interstellar war, but the helmet is not at all fun or toys.

Developed by Ballistics Revision. The HEaDS-UP it is a system consisting of a standard army helmet with expanded capabilities to protect the head, neck and face. The add-ons include a see-through glove and a jaw protection mask. The whole set is shielded from 9-mm ammunition.
The most notable are the technologies imaging that can be viewed inside the gelatin. Although there are no details on what the internal transparent screen displays, it could be battlefield maps, targets, soldier health indicators, communications, etc.
