Turkey today does not have access to Twitter after a country's prime minister has banned it.
The official story says that Twitter has ignored several court rulings by Turkish judges calling for the removal of several publications that have invaded the Turkish government.
Meanwhile, 12 millions of Turkish Twitter users are looking for ways to access the service. This can be done in a variety of ways, and some of them are for any form of censorship that may come from some not so democratic government.

A Tweet has revealed a very simple way for Turkish service users to publish tweets.
Turkish users can send their tweets using SMS to 2444 for those who have Vodafone and 2555 for Turkcell users, along with the word “START.”
Using a VPN
Another solution (and not only for Turkish users) is to use a VPN. The Virtual Private Network allows a computer to send and receive data over networks as if it were directly connected to the private network. VPNs make your computer appear to be connected to a completely different network from another country, thus allowing you to bypass any kind of censorship.
There are many free VPNs στο Internet, although you should be careful as they may contain malware.
An easy way to find a VPN that actually works is to pick one program browsing with a VPN tool such as Hola Better Internet for Chrome or Anonymox for Firefox.
Change your DNS
Another option is to change your DNS. Google's free DNS is a reliable alternative that you can constantly use. Instructions are available at Google's website is pretty easy to follow.
