How to repair a corrupted "Change Computer Settings" link in Windows 8.1

change pc settings Some of them who have installed Windows 8.1 from the Microsoft Store are experiencing problems with the modern version of the Control Panel, specifically with the “Change PC settings” link located at the bottom right.

The problem has been confirmed by users addressed to Microsoft community forums , but the from Redmond yet to provide a solution or at least provide more details on what is causing the problem.

Specifically, one of the users states: After updating to Windows 8.1 PC (from Windows 8) the "Change Computer Settings" connection did not work. After I clicked on it nothing opened and I landed on the home screen.

Tried through admin account but no luck. I am able to change them , (meaning not unrelated to Windows)”  After several users tried different solutions in one of the applications that affect Windows 8.1 with a similar problem had discovered a command that fixes the problem and apparently fixes the corrupted Link "Change Computer Settings" Link, for both desktops and tablets.

If the problem also exists for you to fix it, you need to open a command prompt window by right-clicking the Start button and typing the following command:

-ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register $Env:SystemRoot\ImmersiveControlPanel\AppxManifest.xml

Δεν απαιτείται επανεκκίνηση και το link στον Πίνακα Ελέγχου θα πρέπει να εργάζεται χωρίς οποιοδήποτε άλλο .
