H Genius is a website that deals with song lyrics, but also provides a web commentator with which you can add comments to any website. The best place for Genius is that you do not have to install any browser extension to use the commentator. Just write the phrase in your browser's address bar genius.it/ before the URL of the page. Then mark the text you want and tap the black icon that will appear above highlight text.
Then connect to the Genius website via Twitter, Facebook, Google or directly by email, and you will be able to add a comment for the current page. Genius will provide you with a link that will immediately open the page with the point marked on a yellow background.
The next useful application in this category is TLDRify. Here you need to install a browser extension, but you do not have to sign up for any account to comment on the web pages. Also, unlike Genius, you can show comments left by other users on the same page, TLDRify links will only show your highlight points.
While on a webpage, select any text you want and click the TLDRify bookmark. A link to the highlighted text will be created. When users click on the link, the browser will automatically go to the annotated text.
