HTC has just sent a very cryptic image to MME. The e-mail does not have an explanatory text with further indications, it simply states that the company "wanted to share the date of the next big announcement."
Even more puzzling is that the date (12 January 2017) mentioned in the announcement for the HTC event is after 2017's Consumer Electronics Show, a big event where companies are usually making announcements of new products.
However, HTC has made all of its latest announcements online, rather than holding large and outrageously expensive events for Media.
The only highlight of the event announcement is "For U", which as you can understand is not that enlightening.
Let's mention that HTC has one record collaboration with the company UnderArmor which produces wearables.
We might see another fitness band or one SmartWatch;
It's a bit early to see the successor of HTC 10, but no one can know, everything is possible.
