The Huawei Road Show came for the ninth time in Greece from 18 to 22 April with the aim of paving the way for a better connected world. The specially designed Huawei Road Show 2016 vehicle will visit 26 cities, in 23 countries, over a period of 6 months, giving visitors the opportunity to learn about the latest trends in the industry and the company's ICT strategy.
At the same time, the Huawei Road Show offers everyone the ability to explore the latest developments in Huawei's innovative products and services as shown in 12 specially formulated segments.
Today, user experience-centric transformation is essential, which is why Huawei recommends the “Big 5” initiatives for its digital transformation strategy.
Big Video: Video is vital! Video will be everywhere. Video will become a basic telecommunications service. Huawei presented in the video section the Hybrid TV, a solution that allows the transition to a new TV experience by integrating various technologies such as converged data, digital TV platform, cloud storage, video call, and fast channel change.
Big IT: Huawei presented products and services products for companies looking to stand out from their competitors through customized proposals including Unicloud solutions, data center and UPS.
Big Operation: Huawei has put into practice its philosophy for building flexible networks that guarantee the E2E ROADS experience. A wide range of solutions such as network experience plus, fixed network modernization, and operation & maintenance transformation were presented.
Big Architecture: SDN / NFV technologies in data centers have been developed in a specially designed segment to allow the flexible distribution of the ROADS experience.
Big Pipe: The ubiquitous and Ultra-Broadband network is a critical chapter for digital transformation. Huawei offers a wide range of products and solutions that make life online like 5G, WTTx, GigaHome, and 4K.
Digital transformation is a priority for Huawei Road Show 2016 and as such translates as network, architecture, mode and business transformation for customers.
These changes are at the core of what Huawei calls "Roads" (ROADS) for a better connected world. An experience as defined by the acronym "ROADS" includes "Real-time", "On-demand", "All-online", "Do It Yourself" and "Social connectivity" and summarizes the new revolutionary user experience.
