Hyperloop Transportation Technologies announced last year that it opened a European research center in Toulouse, France. The pipes to be installed in Toulouse have a diameter of 4,0 meters, which means that the system can also carry containers in addition to passengers. The company hopes to have the capsules of passengers, which is being built in Carbures, Spain, later this summer.
