The statistics for using desktop operating systems from Net Applications for February, show one stagnation for Windows 8.1 and Windows 8, after Windows XP to keep their percentage.
More in detail, since January, the Windows 8.1 increased their percentage against Present in several = 0,35% (from 3,95% to 4,30%), while the Windows 8 they had a small one drop against Present in several = 0,25% points (from 6,63% to 6,38%). Overall, the percentage of Windows 8 and Windows 8.1, had an increase of 0,10%, from 10,58% to Present in several = 10,68%.
With regard to Windows 7 the operating system remains with them more users, having a lot small fall by 0,18% (from 47,49% to 47,31%).
It is noteworthy that Windows XP, one month before the final cessation of their support increased their share compared to January by 0,30%, reaching 29,53%!
The data comes from her monthly survey Net Applications and result from visits 160 of millions of unique users on 40.000 web sites worldwide.
