A case of "industrial espionage" has been sparked by the Electronic Crime Prosecutor's Office via the Internet.

The Electronic Crime Prosecutor's Office investigated an industrial espionage case and filed a case file against 50ron, a computer fraud and a letter of confidentiality.
In particular, the investigation of the case began following a complaint by a company, active in the provision of internet, IT and advertising services, for the interception of confidential information against it (customer, sales, policies market, important passwords, etc.), with a commercial value of hundreds of thousands of euros.
More specifically, according to the complaint, an unknown person has acquired a crack in the company's clientele, resulting in a significant loss of revenue due to the leakage of information.
The above complaints were brought to the attention of the Prosecutor's Office of Athens and ordered the Electronic Crime Prosecutor's Office to conduct a preliminary examination as well as to provide the necessary data from the Internet Service Providers.
In the framework of the preliminary examination, a thorough police and digital-to-digital survey of digital data and data was conducted to investigate and elucidate the case, which showed that the electronic traces of the person who had done the cracking corresponded to 50 , a former employee of the complainant company.
