Intel recently announced the first 10-core processor (10-core CPU) for desktops, named Intel 10 Core i7-6950X Extreme Edition, στην έκθεση Computex. Intel claims to be twice as fast as the quad-core i7 6700K for 3D rendering and 35% faster than the latest Core i7-5960X.
With regard to processing 4K video, it is 65% faster than the same quad-core chip and 25% faster than the previous i7.
Let's talk about gaming: It's 25 percent faster than the 5960X, for 4K gaming while encoding 1080p output Twitch stream. Basically, if you work with large volumes of content on a daily basis, it could be the perfect editor for you.
The new Intel 10 Core i7-6950X Extreme Edition will also be available in a version of the 8-core version (i7-6900K costs 1.089 dollars) and variations of 6-core (617 dollars i7-6850K and 434 dollars i7 -6800K). Of course, it's completely unlocked, so you can overclock wherever you want.
