In comparison, the Thunderbolt 2 cable reaches up to 20Gbps, with USB 3.1 reaching speeds of up to and USB 3.0 reaches 5Gbps.

Apple released the USB Type-C for the first time in the latest MacBooks.

But what does this news mean? Well, that means you can run two 4K screens at once or transfer an 4K movie in less than 30 seconds.

The new cable also allows you to daisy-chain more than two computers together if you want to have a small group operated by a CPU.

Intel offers several different versions of the Thunderbolt 3 cable. A copper cable with USB 3.1 that supports 20Gbps, DisplayPort 1.2 and Thunderbolt 20Gbps, as well as an active copper cable of 40Gbps.

In addition, Intel is developing an 40 Gbps fiber optic cable, and is expected to release 2016.

The first Thunderbolt 3 products will be released before the end of 2015, according to Intel.
