IOS 8.1 is expected to be released today via well-known, over-the-air or traditional iTunes routes.
Apple Pay is starting today
On October 16, shortly after the announcement of the new iPads and iMacs, Apple confirmed in a press release that "its customers can start making one-touch payments from Monday, October 20, when Apple Pay will be available in the US. ”
"The service will be activated after a software update for iOS 8," the company said. This update turned out to be iOS 8.1, which is scheduled to be released by Apple today sometime during the day.

Another feature that allows iOS 8.1 is the ability to connect your Mac to the Internet via your iPhone without tether. The feature automatically detects nearby iPhone and places it on the list of available wireless connections. When Wi-Fi is no longer available, it continues with 3G internet without any problems.
Camera Roll, iCloud Photo Library
Camera Roll returns with iOS 8.1. Also iCloud Photo Library will allow you to save your photos directly to iCloud, without saving them to physics phone memory.
The feature is still in beta version so be careful with naked selfies.
