Bug on iOS 8.3 disables the Touch ID for the App Store

If you have not yet installed the new iOS 8.3 to get the emoji it contains, think again, as some users reportedly lost the Touch ID function to sign in to the App Store.touch ID

The latest release of iOS, released on Wednesday, seems to have ceased its operation touch ID in the App Store for some users.

There are many reports that claim the bug in touch ID of the App Store. But when we tried it with one 6 Plus, λειτουργούσε κανονικά, ενώ με μια παλαιότερη συσκευή (ένα 5S) το Touch ID είχε εξαφανιστεί εντελώς από τα App Store purchases, although it was enabled in the device settings.

So this error does not seem to affect all iOS users and in some cases seems to help a simple reboot of the device. In our case, rebooting the phone did not help, though others from the Apple forum seemed to be more fortunate.

For those who have iOS 8.3 installed and have the same problem with us, try a reboot of the device. After your basic settings open “Touch ID and Password”, enter your password and turn off “iTunes and App Store,” then turn it on again and you will be prompted to enter your password again.

Εάν μετά από αυτό, το χαρακτηριστικό εξακολουθεί να μην λειτουργεί, θα πρέπει να περιμένετε την επόμενη operating system from Apple. For the record, this wouldn't be the first time an iOS update has had bugs.
