During the last few days, some complaints have been published in the support forum of Apple from owners of iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus devices who claim to be experiencing poor quality sound during phone calls.
"It's like the phone is hollow and the sound is coming from the depths," says one user who describes the problem on the forum. He then adds that the issue only occurs in calls.
The reduction in volume seems to correct the problem, but it certainly can not be considered a permanent solution to a high-end device.
Fortunately, Apple appears to be aware of the issue, and is reportedly offering replacements to customers with faulty Appliances.
It is currently unclear whether the hardware is harm or software-related. We can assume it has to do with the first, as if the problem existed in iOS, it is almost certain that it was widespread.
The news comes a week after Apple acknowledged and promised to fix a bug software for iPhone 7 which makes the built-in remote control of the new EarPods lightning completely useless.
