According to a recent study by Creative Strategies, 98 percent of iPhone users have used it virtual Siri assistant present in every iPhone from 4s onwards. However, only 3 percent of Apple mobile device owners use the feature in public or in front of others.
"Public use reaches 3% for them users του iPhone, που φαίνεται ότι αισθάνονται δυσάρεστα που μιλάνε στις συσκευές τους,” αναφέρει η company investigations. "Even more exciting is that this is happening in the US, where consumers are used to talking loudly on their phones."
Also interesting is that while only 3% publicly use the virtual assistant Siri, the number doubles for those who use other digital assistants (Google Now, Cortana, etc).
20 percent of respondents said they did not use the facility in public places because they feel uncomfortable talking on their phones with others around.
Also noteworthy is that Android users use their digital assistants more publicly than any other group, and four times more than Siri users (12 percent).
Of course, iPhone owners use Siri, but mostly in the car, where the usage rate reaches their 62 percent that is almost double that of Android users (37 per cent).
The Results show that everyone is a little shy when talking on their cell phones in public, but none more so than Apple users.
