While Apple eventually added wireless charging on the iPhone X and 8, there was no mention of the fast charging during her presentation companys. As it turns out, Apple decided not to mention it in the presentation for a simple reason:
New iPhone supports fast charging, but you need to buy a special adapter to use it.
9to5Mac noticed first feature on Apple's official spec pages. The company reports that all its news phones as capable of charging to 50 percent from zero in 30 minutes. Unfortunately, you'll need one of Apple's USB-C power adapters ($49+) and a USB-C lightning cable ($25+) to make it work.
Paying 75 dollars in addition to a phone that costs 1.000 dollars for such a basic feature seems a little unfair.
We do not know for sure what kind of cable comes with the iPhone X and 8, but the "specifications" section does not mention a USB-C cable.
Instead, Apple's MacBook and MacBook Pro report that they have both USB-C, so the new iPhone is likely to come with the regular old USB-A cable.
