The Open Technologies Organization – EELAK was chosen to participate again this year as a mentor organization in Google Summer of Code 2021 (GSoC) and invites interested students to apply for GSOC 2021 by choosing the project that suits their interests and skills.
In Google Summer of Code (GSoC) can be attended by students who have programming knowledge and who want to contribute to open source projects. The selected students will work for 3 months in the open software project that they choose to contribute and will be funded with 1.800 $ after a monthly evaluation.
GSoC provides funding to students to contribute code to free software projects. It is implemented globally, since it started in 2005 more than 13.000 students from 111 have participated in it countries resulting in more than 38.000.000 lines of code being generated for hundreds of open source organizations.
Ο Open Technologies Organization (EELLAK), will participate in Google Summer of Code 2021 with over 15 proposals for open source projects and invites those students who wish to contribute to one of the projects, to participate in GSOC 2021, choosing the project that suits their interests and skills. Proposals should be formulated in accordance with this model.

Students can formally submit their proposals through its main page Google Summer of Code, from March 29 to April 13, 2021, while those interested in participating in GSOC 2021, in the projects of the Open Technologies Organization, can from today send their questions and contact the mentors of the projects, through the list [email protected].
