The latest Microsoft updates released on Patch Tuesday June 2020 have revealed an unexpected problem with printers on some devices.
Microsoft confirmed shortly after the release of the updates that some printers do not work after installation, and added that in some cases even PDF printers are affected.
So today the company released new updates for the affected versions of the Windows which is supposed to fix the printer problem that occurred after Patch Tuesday this month.
The new updates are the following:
Windows 10, version 1903/1909: KB4567512
Windows 10, version 1809: KB4567513
Windows 10, version 1803: KB4567514
Microsoft states in its official release notes:
Fixes an issue that might prevent some printers from printing, displaying printing errors, or unexpectedly stopping applications and the print order.
What is important to know is that The above updates are not available through Windows Update and must be downloaded and installed manually from the Microsoft Update Catalog. Download links are available on the pages listed above.
At this time there is only one known issue that Microsoft has yet to resolve and that is internet connection difficultiesnetwork for some users.
“After installing this update on a Windows 10 device with an LTE wireless wide area network (WWAN) modem, you may not be able to access on the Internet. However, the Network Connection Status Indicator (NCSI) in the notification area may still show that you are connected to the Internet,” the company says.
