After years of revelations about strange lights in the sky, reports from Navy pilots of UFOs, and government investigations, Congress appears to have admitted something surprising: it doesn't believe all UFOs are "artificial."
The Motherboard he says:
Buried deep in a report that is an addendum to the Fiscal Year 2023 Intelligence Authorization Act, a budget that governs America's intelligence agencies, Congress makes two startling claims.
The first is that "proxy threats to the national security of the United States are expanding exponentially."
The second is that he wants to distinguish between UFOs that are of human origin and those that are not:
"Temporarily unattributed objects, or those positively identified as man-made after analysis, will be forwarded to the appropriate offices and should not be considered under the definition of 'unidentified aerospace-undersea phenomena.'
The admission is surprising because although most of the information about the US government's study of UFOs has been made public, many politicians have not stopped claiming that the unidentified objects were of extraterrestrial or extradimensional origin. The standard line is usually that if UFOs exist, then they are likely to be advanced man-made vehicles.
Obama refused to confirm the existence of aliens, but said that many people have seen many strange things in the sky when asked on The Late Show by James Corden. But now Congress seems to want to distinguish between objects that are "artificial" and those that are not. This admission comes after years of secrecy.
A big question, of course, is why Congress admits it now, and even publicly. It should be noted that lawmakers already know classified information that the general public does not.
Obama-era Defense Department official Marik von Rennenkampff in an op-ed in The Hill he says:
"After all, why would Congress establish and charge a powerful new agency with the investigation of non-"artificial" UFOs if no such objects existed?"
"Don't laugh: When the US government implies that UFOs are not of human origin we have a major development".
