Kyocera Corporation has announced the launch of the new Rafre smartphone which can be washed with soap and water.
Curved screens and AR cameras are nice, but here we're talking about a completely fancy but also useful feature of a mobile telephone. Sparkle with cleanliness but also work when you shower.
The Rafre model is actually the second waterproof phone in soap and water by Kyocera, as the first one with these properties was presented towards the end of 2015. But this time, the device Android as a bonus, it also has the added resistance to lathering common body soaps, so you can take it into the shower with you if you like it to be as clean as you are.
According to the manufacturer the new rafre features resistance to warm νερό και η οθόνη αφής του θα μπορεί να χρησιμοποιηθεί ακόμα και όταν τα χέρια του χρήστη είναι βρεγμένα ή αν φοράει γάντια. Επιπλέον, η νέα συσκευή θα είναι εξοπλισμένη με μία ειδική application cooking app that will allow users to navigate through recipes, set timers and answer calls through gestures without having to touch the screen. This will allow the smartphone to be used while the users hands may be dirty with cooking materials.
Currently, the device will be available from March 2017 only in Japan and will be available in three colors: pale pink, white and light blue. Its price has not yet been determined.
Its expected to be Android Nougat, having a 13-megapixel back camera and a 3,000mAh battery.
