The US Air Force is launching its first laser gun against drones in its arsenal. Made by Raytheon, it can detect and shoot a drone with a laser beam in seconds.
When others use it trained hawks, the US Air Force uses laser beams. The reason for the drones that the whole world is starting to take seriously is that their capabilities don't just stop filming but they can be done by όπλο, bomb, spy, security, dangerous game, bait and a whole bunch of other things.
Η Raytheon company He surrendered to the US Air Force, the first anti-drone laser gun, just one year after the technology was introduced. It is a high-power laser system mounted on a small off-road vehicle that uses electro-optical / infrared sensors to detect and monitor drones. After detecting and tracking the unwanted flying device, it neutralizes it with its laser, in a process that takes a few seconds.
Η Raytheon states that the system can draw power from a standard 220 volt socket and can shoot dozens of times (not giving an exact number) with a single charge. However, if it needs to be in the field for a long time, it can also be combined with a generator.
