Let's do it Greece: A group of children unites all of Greece! In 2012, a group of friends envisioned uniting the entire country with an ambitious vision for the environment. Over the past 5 years, thousands of volunteers have responded to the call, joining forces in an annual meeting with respect and protection of the environment at the center.
This is how the volunteer campaign Let's Do It Greece was born, which this year is scheduled for Sunday, April 2, 2017.
The goal, the thousands of citizens who share the vision of a clean Greece, to coordinate across the country, embellishing 1.500 points within 1 day!
This effort started with news children coming from school environmental groups. Young people who dream of uniting all of Greece for a common purpose, highlighting the good face of our homeland. In the eyes of these young people, Let's do it Greece is an opportunity to unite Greek society by inspiring thousands of citizens and strengthening the culture of volunteering in Greece. 
As we are saying, "Through our common effort, we want to build strong relationships of trust among all of us as active citizens that help each other and the whole society at the same time, and this is multiplier throughout Greece".
Για την Κυριακή 2 Απριλίου, έχουν ήδη δηλώσει συμμετοχή και υποστήριξη εκατοντάδες φορείς σε όλη την Ελλάδα. Ανάμεσά τους, εθελοντικές ομάδες, σύλλογοι πολιτιστικοί, εξωραϊστικοί, περιβαλλοντικοί, ποδηλατικοί, σπηλαιολογικοί, καταδυτικοί, αθλητικά σωματεία, φορείς πολιτικής προστασίας, το σύνολο των μεγάλων περιβαλλοντικών οργανώσεων, Περιφέρειες και Περιφερειακές Ενότητες, Δήμοι σε όλη τη χώρα, φορείς διαχείρισης προστατευόμενων περιοχών, τουριστικοί φορείς, εταιρείες, ιδιώτες, museums, πανεπιστήμια, σχολεία, το Σώμα Ελλήνων Προσκόπων, το Σώμα Ελληνικού Οδηγισμού, ενώ με έγκριση από το Υπουργείο Παιδείας, θα υλοποιηθεί και φέτος η «Σχολική Εβδteam Volunteering Let's do it Greece 2017" in all the schools of the country, culminating on the day of pan-Hellenic action.
The big goal for April 2nd is to join 3.000 organizations nationwide, carrying out voluntary cleaning, beautification and aesthetic actions upgradein every corner of the country. All of us, on April 2nd, will shout loudly throughout Greece "Let's do it Greece"!
