At a time when one after another major manufacturers are integrating fingerprint readers into their smartphones, LG Electronics chooses to introduce a different way of locking the sensitive personal mobile through software. All LG smartphones will be able to be locked with 2 to 8 different taps anywhere on the touch screen, with the possibility of unlocking the device from a third to be 1 among 86.367 possible combinations.
This is the so-called Knock code ("hit" code) introduced in the way LG Smartphone is used with LG G Pro 2 - G Pro Progressor making its official first appearance at Mobile World Congress 2014– which it is development of KnockOn that first appeared in G2.
The tap unlock feature will be coming to all 2014 smartphones via informationsoftware.
