Automatically delete images you do not need in WhatsApp

If you're using WhatsApp, you'll know that your account contains images you do not need, and generally garbage that consumes your phone's memory. Below we will see how you can cleverly delete all the useless content of the app in one go.

Whats App

Siftr, is a startup from India and was founded by ex by Adobe. The company has released a smart app for which can help you get rid of all the junk photos stored in your WhatsApp without any special effort.

The application, Magic Cleaner, will scan the media folder of the WhatsApp application and automatically detect all junk images, such as: creenshots, memes, photos from videos, cartoons and images containing text. Then it will give you the option of all detected images in one go.

How does it work;

Siftr developed its own image recognition engine (something like Google's image recognition that can analyze the content of an image to see if it is a garbage or not.) This requires an Internet connection because image resolution is done through of the Siftr servers and not locally on the mobile phone.

For those who are concerned about their privacy, we should mention that the application only raises a small part of the hash fragmentation and compares it with their own image database.

The app is free, but you can automatically delete a limited number of images every day.
