Security company Malwarebytes offers all hacker users anti-virus software of, 12 months free protection. 
So anyone who uses an illegal Malwarebytes software activation key with the next one upgrade of the application will automatically obtain a legal key that will be valid for 12 months.

Why
Company CEO Marcin Kleczynski in a forum post said the move was partly because during the early days of software distribution, developers were using a very insecure algorithm for partreatment keys, which made generating pirated keys very easy.
So the company, along with the 12 month offer, develops a stronger license key generation system. The offer is because there simply is no other way to separate legitimate users from illegal users.
