Earlier this week we reported that the Mandriva SA, a French company that develops the operating system system Mandriva Linux, was in the process of being liquidated.
The Business Insider India continued to investigate the story, and reached Mandriva's CEO, Jean Manuel-Croset, who joined the company in 2011.
The question they made to the CEO of the company was: why was Mandriva SA closed?
In short, it appears that, according to Jean Manuel-Croset, Mandriva SA was forced to close the company due to the numerous actions brought by its employees.
Why
"Mandriva SA ceased operations following lawsuits stemming from lawsuits against former employees who were fired as part of a restructuring process in 2013," said Jean Manuel-Croset, CEO of Mandriva at Business Insider India.
It is quite sad to hear that such a company is closing, but it is even sadder to learn that so many employees were laid off due to some "restructuring process", while the company was doing very well, according to the CEO of Mandriva.
