Microsoft acquired SwiftKey

Microsoft has just confirmed that it has bought the manufacturer of the SwiftKey keyboard (Android and iOS devices) for a respectable amount of money. The company's goal, of course, is to integrate SwiftKey's Word Flow technology into the Phone.SwiftKey

Microsoft does not mention more details, but rumors say it will spend a total of 250 million dollars to buy SwiftKey.

Harry Shum, Executive Vice President, Technology and Research, said all of the company's employees would join Microsoft in an effort to merge the two keyboard applications and create one that could work seamlessly on all devices.

"This acquisition is an excellent example of Microsoft's commitment to making software and of her in all the .
