Microsoft announces Secured-core PCs

Microsoft today announced Secured-core computers. According to the company, they will be the safest Windows 10 devices out of the box, and will feature secure embedded hardware, firmware, software and authentication.

These new Secured-core PCs are aimed at people working with very sensitive data in industries, government, or financial services.

Features of Secured-core PCs:

Secured-core computers use hardware rooted security on the modern CPU to boot safely, preventing any malware to infiltrate the system and attack at the firmware level.
Once the CPU runs safely, the operating system takes control. Hypervisor enforced code ensures that all code at the core of the operating system is reliable.
Users can then sign in securely with Windows Hello 2. Credential Guard ensures that identity credentials and isolated and protected in a secure VBS environment.

Microsoft's Secured-core computers will be available from various OEM OEM manufacturers, such as Dell, Dynabook, HP, Lenovo, Panasonic and Surface. You can find out more from the following link:
