Microsoft has officially announced a web feature capture for the Microsoft Edge browser and those interested can try it out in the latest Dev and Canary builds.
As the name of the new feature, the capture tool allows users to take a screenshot of a website.
“We've designed the new screenshot feature, web capture, and we're excited to introduce the core features in the Dev and Canary versions. In the near future, you can see more features being added to web capture, such as thecase ink or bookmarks, downloading full web pages and scrolling while bookmarking” he says The company.
You can start the new logging tool from the pro menuletterbrowsing, but also with the shortcut Ctrl+Shift+S from your keyboard.
Once the application starts, you can choose to copy a specific screenshot and view it before being given more options, such as saving or sharing the image.
The new web logging tool will be available in all versions of Microsoft Edge, not just Windows but also on macOS. We currently don't know when it will be released in the stable version of Edge.
